Perfect Backup - The Online Backup Solution
This day and age with the advent of digital camera's, downloadable music, family tree's. business accounts, personal accounts plus private personal business and Mobile phones it is imperative you take stock of your computer system and ask yourself "How would I feel if I lost everything?", we know what the answer is because we have to deal with the anguish on a daily basis. Yet there are a number of affordable solutions.
CD \ DVD Backup
This type of backup is quickly becoming redundant for a number of reasons, firstly contrary to popular belief CD's and DVD's are destructable, secondly they are clumsy and time consuming, thirdly they are not reliable and last but not least they do not hold much data, so if using CD's you would need a lot of them to backup 10GB of data.
That being said they are better than nothing.
USB Flash Drives
Becoming a great option, quick reliable, easy to use, cheap and portable. We now have USB Flash Drives that hold 16Gb of data and cost less than £30. We recommend you have two of these and rotate them weekly.

External Hard Drives
For home users and small businesses this again is an excellent option, with External Hard Drives readily available in the high street and on the internet. Most now come with a backup software and a capacity which exceeds your current hard disk space, so you can easily backup your complete system at a pre-scheduled time, daily, weekly or monthly. However this type of backup is not full proof as External Hard drives are mechanical and can fail. None the less a very popular and cheap option.

Second Internal Hard drive
A very good option, have a second hard drive fitted to your computer (not applicable to most laptops) you can then backup in a number of ways, an automatic scheduled process, a manual process or most popular mirroring your drive. Mirroring your drive means exactly that an exact copy of your working drive is created on a second drive in real time and thus if one of the drives fail the second one takes over.
A Very good and reliable option, however it needs to be monitored as the software used for mirroring can fail.
Online external backup
Our most favourable option and a service we can provide. All you require is a broadband connection and a piece of clever software plus investment into a monthly subscription then we do the rest. The backup is insured up to a million pound if for what ever reason we can not restore the backup due to a system failure. Your data is backed up, compressed, encrypted and copied three times and then distributed to three separate servers dotted throughout the world.
The system is all automated, scheduled and monitored by us daily in case of failure. A great option for home users and businesses alike.
